Should you control pests?

The reasons for controlling pests is important.
cropped-pest-control-header2.jpg
I have meet a few people who may feel that is it really necessary to control pests in their homes? Well if i am there having this discussion then the this answers for itself.
The simple answer is yes it is important to control pests so in what way is the best way to control pests such as bedbugs rats fleas mice cockroaches or remove wasp nests.
The main reason to control pests such as rodents like rats & mice is the disease they carry as such its not a simple matter of they mean no harm they just need a home. Humans have a greater importance for health than that of a rodent like a rat or mice so picking up a disease from a rodent is unacceptable due to feeling that they simply mean no harm apart from being annoying.
I would suggest the main problem with pests is rodents that seem to carry a lot of diseases that can cause illnesses such as the following extensive list:
1993 Four Corners hantavirus outbreak

Amur virus
Andes virus
Angiostrongylus cantonensis
Argentine hemorrhagic fever

Bolivian hemorrhagic fever
Bubonic plague

Calabazo virus
Carrizal virus
Choclo virus
Cryptosporidium parvum

Dobrava-Belgrade virus

El Moro Canyon virus
Endocarditis
Epidemic typhus

Flavivirus

Gou virus

Hantaan River virus
Hantavirus
Hantavirus hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome
H cont.
Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome
Haverhill fever
Hepatitis E
Hymenolepiasis

International Organization for Mycoplasmology

Junin virus

Lassa fever
Leptospirosis
Limestone Canyon virus
Lujo virus
Lymphocytic choriomeningitis

Maripa virus
Monongahela virus
Muju virus
Muleshoe virus
Mycoplasma

Nova virus

Oriental rat flea

Plague (disease)
Prospect Hill virus

Puumala virus

Q fever

Rabies
Rat-bite fever
Rio Segundo virus

Saaremaa virus
Salmonella
Sangassou virus
Sarcocystis
Sarcocystis nesbitti
Sarcocystis host–parasite relations
Serang virus
Soochong virus
Streptobacillus

Thottapalayam virus
Toxoplasma gondii
Trichinosis
Tula virus

Urban plague

Venezuelan hemorrhagic fever
With the above possible disease that can be caused by having rodents there is a serious decision to be made by a customer. Do they get rid of rodents themselves? or best to contact a professional pest controller in who can advise them on the best treatment procedure.
With the pests such as insects apart from cockroaches bedbugs wasps & other common insects cause more of an annoyance that in my opinion i would not want to live with pests such as these.

How do Rodents get into buildings?

This is a good question, Rodents like rats & mice have very good ways of getting into building & homes

The main issues for customer who have experienced or experiencing rodents is how did they get in

When we visit customers homes we carry out a full inspection of which also covers possible ways of how rodents have got into their homes also our services cover ways to help to future prevention of rodents.

Rats they have similar ways of getting into buildings & il be honest if you have a rat problem there is a great chance that your drainage is broken of is blocked of exposure to the sewage is possible so these need to be inspected

Mice are very small & in most occasions find their ways into peoples homes through air brick around the building although air brick holes are small lets not forget that mice can fit into very small spaces

Mice can also infest a building by neighbours having an infestation

One most occasions its not that your hygiene is bad or you have a dirty smelly homes its simply that rodents such as mice are trying to find somewhere warm to get into and spend the winter

How to get rid of bedbugs

How to get rid of bedbugs?
This question has been going around for many years & simply is not easy to answer. Did you know that most bedbug infestations can be controlled correctly with the correct methods.
Getting rid of bedbugs is an art not just simply applying cheap products bought from the internet from online auction sites which in my opinion are there to just simply take your money & simply don’t care if it works or not.
Look at bedbug treatments like this if your twenty miles away from a bomb explosion you would hear it of course if its load enough but you probably won’t get harmed by it Great news! so look at cheap products bought from online store like this the products they sell simply don’t work on a large scale. Yeah you will get rid of a few but then you may have many more in places you haven’t treated. To cover a whole house in a simple 500 ml bottles is not going to happen. My advice save your money go direct to a professional.
Ok so getting out the way that to be honest you can have a go yourself but the problem will prove pointless & a waste of your money then you will try to seek a cheap pest controller because your down money.
My advice don’t waste your money go get a professional.
I own a pest control company called pest control company which specialises in getting rid of bedbugs & other pests we cover most of Essex & London & on many occasions i get customers asking me should i just throw all the furniture away? Simply yes & no. I look at it like this if you dispose of the bed that probably 90% of the problem solved  also who wants to sleep in a bed that has dead or alive bedbugs in it? Not me!
Its very sad to hear that customers before calling me try to give it a go themselves then say I’ve already spent £100. I feel very sorry for them because if they called me in the first place they would get all the service of training professionalism & not to mention a great bedbugs control service.
I must stress you can’t simply throw the bed away & think its that easy. Take a look at the following bedbug life cycle.
bedbug life Bed bug life cycle
As you will see by the above picture a bedbug life cycle is not a simply one . They have seven changes the last being an adult. So the task is its not just killing the adults tarts the problem its killing the egg of which is not an easy task.
Try to imagine a person glued with super glue to a mattress, You can pull as hard as you want there not coming off you will rather have to cut the glue or just leave em glued. Bedbug eggs are glued to surfaces so you can’t simply kill them easy.
With this in mind you will have to consider the whole carpet area where bedbugs could have been, Will a little bottle of 500ml cover all the bed, the carpets, the curtains skirting boards oh i nearly forgot the smoke bombs that people are sold with the belief that these will save the day. The answer is simply no.  Not to mention that unless you are wearing a safety mask then you are being exposed to insecticides that can harm your health.
The people selling these products simply want money. if they cared about your health they would insist you wear a mask. oh yeah i forgot it probably says that on the instructions.
I believe that selling insecticides to the general public should be banned because if your exposed to harmful chemicals then your risking harming your health.
There are ways to destroy bedbugs in a fast way & thats by employing a local pest control company. You get your problem solved they stay in business & you don’t waste money you don’t need to.
We recommend to our customers a way that they will help get rid of bedbugs from their end swell as our treatments with both the success rate of getting rid of bedbugs is 99% with the last 1% likely to die upon hatching. Our treatments are successful not just because we are trained in getting rid of bedbugs its because our products are professionally designed to get rid of bedbugs.
I hope this information has been useful .
Remember save your money book a professional company like www.pestcontrol-company.co.uk or call us 0800 471 4986
